Apart from certain activities which are listed in the other sections under this page. There may be additional activities which, in view of the environmental risk associated with activities on site, are also required to be in possession of an Environmental permit.
These may include activities, for example with a discharge to sea, whose impact would need to be regulated through a site specific environmental permit. Other activities may also include those which generate significant amounts of hazardous waste whose management would need to be closely monitored by the Authority.
