The Industrial Emissions (Limitation of Volatile Organic Compounds) Regulation sets emission limit values for the installations in which solvent-consuming activities apply. These include solvent consumption thresholds, together with limit values for VOC’s in waste gases or maximum levels of fugitive emissions (expressed as percentage of solvent input) and/or total emission limit values. Solvent consumption thresholds and emission limit values, are detailed in Schedule II of S.L. 549.79.
