ERA Launches Management Plan for the Ċirkewwa Marine Park

Malta’s First Marine Park now has its Management Plan!

ERA, together with the Ministry for Energy, the Environment and the Regeneration of the Grand Harbour, the Ministry for Tourism and the Ċirkewwa Management Council, comprising ERA, the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), Transport Malta and Nature Trust Malta, launched the Management Plan for the Ċirkewwa Marine Park.

The Plan marks a new phase of active protection and management for Malta’s first Marine Park, setting out measures to safeguard marine habitats and species while ensuring the area’s responsible and sustainable use.

An important step forward for marine conservation, research, recreation and sustainable tourism.
