The ERA Awards, previously known as the Buonamico Awards, represent a rebranded and enhanced initiative organised by the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) to celebrate individuals who make meaningful contributions to the preservation and well-being of Malta’s natural environment.
This new identity reflects ERA’s commitment to elevating the ERA Awards into a prominent and prestigious annual event that emphasises the importance of environmental stewardship in today’s world.
While the ceremony has evolved, the Awards continue to highlight ERA’s dedication to honouring those who devote their efforts whether through academia, activism, innovation, or sustainable practices—to safeguarding Malta’s environmental future.
