ERA contributed to the discussion held as part of the Sandland Project, where Josianne, an ERA official, presented the Authority’s perspective on the environmental aspects of beach nourishment, from sand quality to the protection of marine habitats.

The project, organised by the Policy Research Directorate within the Public Works Department together with the University of Malta, focuses on sustainable solutions to address coastal erosion in Malta and Sicily.
