This document focuses on the main issues affecting Malta’s water resources and will guide the development of measures to be included in the 4th River Basin Management Plan (2028-2033), in line with the requirements of the EU Water Framework Directive. The consultation addresses six priority areas, including groundwater protection, pollution, climate change impacts, and public engagement.
