ERA recently welcomed students participating in a Stage Malta programme for an engaging visit about ambient monitoring and air quality networks.
The session included a talk on the role of ERA’s Ambient Monitoring Unit, followed by a laboratory tour where students saw how air quality data is ensured through calibration, maintenance, conditioning, and filter weighing.
The visit gave students a better understanding of how science and continuous monitoring support environmental protection and help safeguard Malta’s air quality.
