As part of the regeneration of Spencer Garden, near the newly constructed pond stands a monument inspired by Laudato si’, honouring Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato si’, meaning “Praise Be to You”.
The monument is surrounded by flourishing greenery native plants, and serene, curved pathways, while the adjacent area offers a space for visitors to relax, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of nature. The setting provides scenic views of the regenerated garden, creating a peaceful atmosphere that encourages connection with the environment and a peaceful escape within the surrounding urban area inviting all to enjoy its revitalised beauty.
