ERA is inviting tender applications for a contract aimed at carrying out a feasibility assessment study of eco-labelling schemes for Maltese fisheries under an EU co-funded project ‘Marine Conservation – An Inclusive Approach to Managing Marine Resources’.

The contract focuses on:

• Assessing the feasibility of eco-labelling and certification schemes for Malta’s fisheries sector, including socio-economic feasibility.
• Evaluating existing international and regional schemes, as well as exploring the potential of new national schemes.
• Recommending the most suitable certification options and implementation framework for Malta’s fisheries sector.
