The ERA Annual Report for 2025 is now published!
The report provides an overview of the Authority’s ongoing work and key achievements throughout 2025. This edition also marks the 10th anniversary of ERA, reflecting a decade of progress and continued work to protect Malta’s environment.
Some key milestones include:
- From 113 to over 300 officers
- From 700 to over 8,000 inspections annually
- 35% of our seas are now under protection
- 98% of terrestrial Natura 2000 sites covered by conservation measures
