The Environmental Permitting (Procedure for Applications and their Determination) Regulations (S.L.549.172) includes transitional provisions for activities listed in the Second Schedule that were already in operation before the regulations were enacted. Operators of such activities must apply for clearance between 11th May 2025 and 11th November 2025.
Applications are to be submitted via:
- Clearance application form – until 11th November 2025
- After the stipulated date applications will need to be submitted via the ERIS portal.
